Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SyncMaster (the "Service"), operated at syncmaster.pl. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
SyncMaster is a calendar synchronization tool that fetches iCal feeds from vacation rental platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, Tripadvisor, Google Calendar) and detects double-booking conflicts. We are not affiliated with any of these platforms.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address and choose a secure password (minimum 6 characters).
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use SyncMaster only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service to send spam or abuse platform APIs
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our infrastructure
- Introduce malware, or perform denial-of-service attacks
- Resell or sublicense access without our written consent
4. iCal URLs and Third-Party Data
You are responsible for the iCal URLs you add to SyncMaster. By adding a URL, you confirm you have the right to access and synchronize the calendar data it contains. We fetch data from these URLs on your behalf and are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party calendars.
5. Plans and Billing
SyncMaster offers a Free plan with limited properties, and paid plans (Pro, Business) with higher limits. Plan details and pricing are shown on our pricing page. Prices are shown in your local currency. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and are non-refundable except as required by law.
6. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses arising from missed conflict alerts or synchronization failures caused by third-party platform outages or incorrect iCal data.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service belong to SyncMaster. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes. You retain ownership of any data you upload.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting contact@syncmaster.pl. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncMaster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue from double bookings. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
